30 Weeks!

Yesterday marks week 30 of our pregnancy, and I can't believe we only have 10 weeks left 'till we meet our little guy! After last weekends baby shower, the reality started to kick in and I feel like I have soo much to do! We had our 30 week appointment yesterday and everything went great! I passed all the bloodwork tests, so no gestational diabetes or anemia for me!!! Yay, I really did not want to deal with diabetes. It runs in my family so I was a little worried, but I have been trying to take care of myself as best I can, so I guess it all worked out for me! Rhett's heartbeat was 154bpm which is good and strong, and I am measuring 32cm. I feel pretty good still except for being tired by the end of the day, and I think I might be starting to swell in my hands and feet. It could be because I am on my feet all day chasing munchkins around, but I am trying to drink lots of water to help with that!. We also have our 3d/4d sonogram scheduled for this weekend on Saturday! We are soooo excited I can't wait to see him. It has been so long since we have seen a picture of him and hopefully this one will be more clear and we can see what he might really look like! We got the "and baby makes three " package at La Bella Belly in Rockwall thanks to Maw and Angie! So with this package we will get the sonogram and a couples massage!!!! Both of these sound like heaven right now! I cannot wait! I will post pics as soon as I get home, so stay tuned...... It's gonna be a great weekend!!!!

I have had a diaper shower already but this last Saturday was my first Baby Shower. given by my best friend, Jennifer Beuerlein! It was sooo much fun and it was so good to see my friends and their moms from high school and a couple of my friends from college. It has been a while since I have seen everyone and it was great to get to catch up with everyone in person. It seems as though we don't miss a beat, though grownup and leading our own lives with our own families, everyone still seems like the same friends I grew up with! I love it and it just feels very comforting! Jennifer did such an amazing job on everything!!! It was perfect and I know she worked hard on mking it perfect for me! I am very lucky to have such a great best friend that cares about me so much!! I love you Jenn!! Here are some pics of the shower!!!

Maw's Masterpieces!

Maw has been busy at work, making Rhett all kinds of cute quilts, blankets, pillows, onsies and burp cloths! She is so talented and I love all of it. I am especially impressed with the quilts she made. These were the first quilts she has eer made and it looks lite I bought them at the store!!! These are so special and wll be a great keepsake for Rhett as he grows older! I know he is going to love all of it as much as Kody and I do! We are so blessed to have such a great Maw!!! Thanks for everything you do Maw you are the best and we love you so much!!!
