Bellamy's Birthday

Last Saturday was my best friend Jennifer's daughter's first birthday! Bellamy Mazel Beuerlein turned one whole year ol!!!, I can't believe it has already been a year, it seems like we were all just at the hospital waiting to see her for the first time! Her birthday party was at Jennifer's parent's house, and  Terry cooked out hot dogs on the grill, and my precious Benjamin got to play in a huge blow up water bounce house. It was a great party for her first birthday, and Bellamy sure is loved by many! I had to leave the party early to go to Landon and Ashley's wedding, so I didn't get to watch her eat her cake, which is my favorite part of a first birthday party, but I did get to watch her open her presents!!! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to celebarte many more of her birthdays!!!

Bellamy's sweet birthday outfit!! How cute!

Landon and Ashley's Wedding

Well it has been a busy week and I have a lot to update you about. Last weekend our dear friends Landon and Ashley got married! Kody was a groomsmen so we got to participate in all of the wedding festivities. The rehearsal dinner was on Friday night at Love and War in Texas. The food was wonderful but the company was even better. Most of the groomsmen stayed the night at our house and needless to say Landon was in prime form! He had to take a nap on the concrete driveway before coming inside!! Yikes! The boys seemd to have fun on Landon's last night as a Bachelor! Saturday was the wedding and the bride and groom were stunning! Ashley looked like a model straight out of a bridal magazine and Landon was just as handsome! The wedding party wasn't to bad looking themselves, especially those Christensen boys! The reception was a lot of fun and we all definitley celebrated the unionof these two special people!

28 weeks!

28 weeks!
Today I had my glucose tolerance test! I really hope I pass it! I so do not need anything else on my plate to worry about, so please keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well!! After the test I had to go shopping for something to wear his weekend to a wedding Kody and I are going to. It was definitely a reality check! I look very pregnant thse days and am feeling just as pregnant! I know it is all part of the experience but it was still a little depressing trying on cloths and looking and feeling like a frumpy pregnant lady. I think my body skipped the cute in between stage where the belly is cute in clothes, straight to the part where I just feel a little large and in charge, if ya know what I mean. But, I guess I can't complain too much since I haven't had any of the normal pregnancy symptoms. I really have had a pretty smooth pregnancy so far, and haven't been to uncomfortable. Speaking of uncomfortable, it is definitely starting to get that way for me. I am moving a little slower, and my back has really been bothering me, so I'm afraid the waddle walk has started to take action. Yikes!!! So not only do I look, and feel pregnant, I WALK pregnant! Oh no!!! Well I guess there are worse things!!! Working out has started to become more difficult as well! My stomach is kinda getting in the way as I'm sure you can imagine, and I seem to be getting tired easier! After a full day of chasing 6 year olds around and being in my third trimester I am absolutely exhausted when I get home! I am a little nervous as to how tired I'll be when Rhett gets here! I know I will figure it out but man am I exhausted already and he's not even here yet! All in All everything is going pretty good this week with me and baby Rhett, we are blessed! Keep your fingers crossed that we passed that glucose test!!! Thanks and God bless!!

Third Trimester!!!! WOO HOO!!!

So I Have reached my third trimester and am so excited about that! It really has gone by pretty fast! I have been able to feel Rhett move for a pretty good while now and I think I have kind of figured out his little schedule. He is still most active at night when I am still and laying down. I can see him move through my belly which is way weird, but still super cool! I just find it so amazing that this little life is inside me! He started from nothing but a few cells and is now kicking, measuring the size of a head of cauliflower at 16 in. and weighing in at 2.5 lbs. Truly a miracle of God!! So in 12 weeks and 3 days we will finallly be able to see his little face! I am so anxious to see him and hold him!! I know these days are a precious gift so I am trying to take it all in and enjoy the experience of growing and carryig our child, and I don't want to rush through anything, but I can't help but wonder what he will look like, what his personality will be and what he will get from his dad and what he will get from me! But one thing I do know is that he is growing! My belly seems to be inflating more each day, and it is getting harder to move around like I am used to. I will forget that there is a belly in my way and am soon reminded anytime I get up off the coach or the floor at school. The poor kids at school are getting the best of my pregnancy brain. I have a few that have very similar names and I cannot get them right to save my life! I just tell them the baby is using all of my brain cells and they laugh! I'm sure it will get worse before it gets better but its a little inconvenient when trying to teach and keep up with 6 year olds. It is well worth it though, I know!
This pic is from today, I am 27weeks 4 days pregnant!!!

22-26 Weeks

Well a lot has happened in the last month and I'm sorry I haven't updated like I have wanted to, but let me fill you in...

So, since the last post I have had a busy busy life! I had been working really hard on my classroom at Birmingham trying to get it ready for a new year as a Kindergarten teacher. It was pretty difficult work since Birmingham was under construction while I was doing this. Well, I got everything unpacked and put away and the majority of my bulletin boards put up, with much help from my mom! My aunt Pam also came and helped me one day. All of this, for a late night phone call on the Monday night before work week. It was like 7:00 and the Birmingham principal called me and told me I was being moved to another school to teach first grade. Needless to say I was a little upset! First, I'm pregnant and highly emotional anyway, I had just gotten used to the idea of moving from Hartman to Birmingham and from first to kinder. I had started settling in and making new friends, and I'm OCD. All of this was just a little stressful for me to deal with, but nonetheless it was a done deal, so may as well adjust and change directions with a smile. So Tuesday, my cousin Lynsey and her boyfriend Luke and my mom came and helped me pack up my whole room ...again, and move it to my new home, Cox Elementary. They were such a blessing and I am so thankful for them. There is no way I could have gotten it all done so fast without them. We got it all packed and moved by lunch and started setting up and unpacking in the afternoon. The rest of the week was spent in my classroom getting everything situated.
In Baby news.....
Kody and I also had our first Diaper Shower!!!!! It was so exciting! It was given by the Head Football Coach at Wylie East Joe Lepsis and his wife Starr. It was so nice of them to think of us, and we are so thankful to all the coaches and wives that came to support us! Starr out did herself on everything! The diaper cake she made was absolutely precious and she even made the little cupcake toppers! We had a great time and are definitely blessed! Here are some pics of the events of the last month!! I promise I will be better about updating more often now that things are going to start getting into a groove!!

These are the cupcakes! It was a douple diaper shower hence the pink cupcakes, the other couple is having a girl! Starr made the little sports toppers! Aren't the adorable!

This is all our loot we racked up at the diaper shower. Kody did the math on how many diapers we got, but all I know is we are off to a pretty good start!

5.5 Months and counting!

Well its been a few weeks now since I have posted any baby updates so I thought I would fill everyone in on Rhett's progress so far. We went for our 22 week appointment, which translates to about 5.5 months, on Wednesday. Eveything went really well and he seems to be right on track! His heart rate was 143 and he is still moving around. Hearing his little heart beat never gets old!!! It is such a wonderful sound and getting to hear it  once a month is just not enough! I can't wait till he is in my arms I can feel his little heart beat!

I have been reading to Rhett at night, which has become a special time for me, Rhett, Henry, and Hank! Henry & Hank love story time and I find myself showing them the pictures and asking questions! I guess its the kindergarten teacher coming out in me. I'm sure if someone walked in when I am reading to my belly and two dogs they would think I am crazy for sure!!! I love this time though and have gotten to read Rhett's books that he got from his Grammy (Kody's Mom)!

Another exciting bit of news is Kody got to feel the baby move for the first time on Wednesday! Rhett seems to like the nighttime the best and whenever I lay down for bed is when he starts to move. It was so neat to see Kody get to experience the little movements I've been feeling! He liked it, and thought it was pretty cool. Obviously he made the distinct observation that Rhett was already practicing his soccer moves!

Ohh and one last update, my bedding came in last week!!! My Aunt Pam, got us the bedding and I am so excited about it! It is perfect. We weren't able to see it in person when I picked it out because it was only online so Iwas a little nervouse but, it turned out  just as I had imagined it. It is so soft and the colors are what I had hoped for.

This is the bedding online! I will post Rhett's later when I have it all put together! But this is what it looks like!

This is his name applique that will go behind his crib! I got it off of Etsy!

All in all it has been a pretty good couple of weeks and we are so blessed and thankful.

Here are my updated Belly pics thus far!
